Hey quick update on my Drs. appointment, the news is there is no news. I am still a 1 and still 50% effaced. Well she did say a 1 and a 1/2 and 40-50% effaced so really we are almost moving backwards, cause I was 50% effaced last week. It is no suprise to me I guess, that is exactly what I knew I would hear. What are ya gonna do? At this point (after crying at the doctors office) I am over it. She/He will come whenever he is going to I guess. The doctor said the baby isn't even in a low enough position to "strip the membranes" so we have some time. She was willing to set up an induction date for the 22nd. I go back on Friday to see if my cervix is in a more favorable position for an induction. If it's not then I would rather not have a failed induction just because I am impatient, I hear failed inductions stink!! However Justins mom comes in on Friday evening to see the new baby, yeah the one we don't have. So she will get to be here hopefully for the arrival of this one, that would be a sad visit to come and not even get to see the baby before she has to go. This should be an interesting week. Sooooo that as they say, is that!! thanks for all the well wishing, I have plenty of projects to occupy my time until August so I'll just start getting them done.
P.S. We are getting a home phone put in on Wednesday so that will be fun. Email me if you want the number or I might send out a mass email or something. We have had only cell phones for the last 4 years so this will fun.

Oh Jennis! I'm so sorry. I hope this is coming to an end soon for ya! Have you looked into maternity acupressure? I searched on the internet, and found some pressure points that are supposed to help the cervix dialate and other things to help labor begin. You should look into it because it won't hurt anything to try! I used the point in the webbing between the thumb and pointer finger, and also the one inside the ankle 4 finger widths above the inside ankle bone. Anyways... you should check it out if ya want to! You can read alot of success stories, and I think it might have helped me along with getting my membranes stripped. You need to make sure to post as soon as the little one comes because we're all checking up on ya! Good luck.

I feel your pain, Jennis. I want to make it all better for you. Hang in there!! It will be over before you know it- I mean Mason is almost 7 weeks!!! Time flies! BTW- you can't possibly be measuring small anymore. ?? I can't believe the growth since your last picture posted. Atleast you know that is one healthy babe:)
A home phone is just one more bill, my friend. And one more number for me to memorize. You will be happy to know that I went to the Dr. today and there is no chance that I am ever going into labor on my own. I got nothing going on. So odds are totally in your favor for getting a baby before me. Happy news is that I lost 2lbs since last week. Obviously I gain too much last week. You don't look that big to me.

Jennis I have so enjoyed viewing and reading your family blog. Hopefully your dad and I will have ours up and running. He has all the pictures of my surgery but the one of my incision( said absolutely no way!). Anyway I feel for you girl, the waiting for the birth of a baby are some of my longest days every!
