Back to 30 weeks and a project done!!

Here are some before and afters of the curbing. The circle around the meter was a landscaping issue but now it is small enough that I'll put a couple bush there and call it good. They reduced it by half! no reason for it to have been that big.

This is the move in picture, the temporary brick wall, and the lawn moved back where I want it, plus a bonus of the garden box I made. I planted raspberries, strawberries, and have two tomato plants. I need another roll of sod for the end and need to take out the azaleas to plant my dahlias and gladiolas. Making progress.

Well I must sound like I complain a lot!! On the good side the Drs. visit was the quickest one in the world and baby is healthy. And according to the ultrasound that I had back at 18 weeks they ARE pushing my due date back to July 26th instead of the 15th. Remember how I was 18 weeks along for 5 weeks? Well now that I am supposed to be 32 weeks they want to push me back to 30. I have been 30 weeks already so I am not playing along. I vote that I AM 32 weeks AND I am going to deliver early!! Why do they want to push my delivery date til August??? they are going to make me cry. I took Lucas in today also for a height and weight check to see if he is still on the charts, he is just a wee bitty guy and we want to monitor his growth to make sure he is actually growing. I think he is it is just a matter of how much.
The kids are doing better as am I, thanks for your responses it is good just to hear feed back. I've decided quicker consequences for bad behavior, I am responding while I am still calm rather then talking so much and giving countless chances. They are going to their room more and faster while I am doing less yelling and less negotiating. Luckily Justin is the best help a girl could ask for. I am not kidding I am really lucky to have a man that participates in all areas of our home. He does chores in and out of the house, laundry, discipline, baths, bedtime, vaccuming, you name it. He is my biggest blessing.

Here is the video I promised in the last post, I hope it plays. I think it's funny you can hear me laughing.

Wow Jennis!! You're doing great work over there! I am so excited. Joel and I will have to come visit next week. Or maybe I can come play while he goes rampaging through the woods. I didn't get to see the video - it's not working for me. But I can imagine the cuteness of it all. Great job on the yard lady! Love you!

Oh my! Where do I start... First of all, you kick butt on the yard work. I need to hire you! It looks like you've done a great job. Second... that STINKS about your due date. Why are they changing it? Are you just measuring small or what? I'm 32 weeks as well, and if they even thought of changing it...well, I better not say:)! And Third... that video is FUNNY! I think it's great that Lucas wants to start crying, and of course the big sister has to tell him to buck up! That's awesome! It's so much easier as long as you're not the one hurt! HAHAHA. OH- and fourth...it is definitley a blessing to have wonderful husbands. I have to remind myself often to let Micah know how much I love and appreciate him. I don't want him to think I take him for granted!

Your yard looks great!!! Good work. I can't believe it's been that long since I've been over. Time flys!!! Sorry to hear about your doctor. Didn't you tell him you have itty bitty kids? :o) Hopefully you will go early as I know how miserable you are feeling. Jacey and Lucas are sure cute!!! Miss you guys. Oh and thanks for letting us borrow your husband the other night. Sorry if we caused "issues". Love ya!!!

You have done amazing on your yard. I lack vision for those things so you need to come help me. It is all beautiful! Cute video. I was laughing pretty good and my girls thought it was funny too. Sorry about the pregnancy. I'm soooo done with mine! It's hard enough to hang in there as it is let alone having them back you up by a couple of weeks! Sorry girly!

Oh, Jenn. How is it that you never have a real due date? With all the kids you were due here and there and then the baby comes whenever it wants. I am sorry it has been frustrating. Reality is you will have the baby when he/she is ready to come(on the 15th). I really want to visit you in the hospital with my 2 kids. Also great job on the yard! I don't know how you get that stuff done so fast. I like the curbing and the back yard looks great! The video of the kids proves you don't need fancy toys all you need is a fence and a board to have a good time.

I'm with you...I say you are 32 wks and you will deliver early! :-) I'm glad things are going good for you! I'm trying to be better at not giving Ryan so many chances and when he does something naughty, sending him to his room or the corner for a time out. Like you said it helps me stay calmer...however I'm trying to get Josh to give Ryan a little MORE leeway than he normally does! LOL! It's a process! :-) Love ya babe!

Well! I commented on Jenna's blog---okay. Wrote my comments here, doesn't like the password I used 10 minutes ago. 'sigh'. After registering with Google (who said my password selection was "weak" and made me try twice more) (Will I remember that "strong' password? Doubtful.) I get to try again. It went something like this:
Jenn, I think I might know where you got your yard work bug. And if it has to do with rocks? It's in your blood. (I thought the same thing as I saw Joel's rock wall project) Also, I adore the picture of Justin looking down at sick Lukie. Doesn't he just embody all that is sweet and strong about Fatherhood? I'm soooo pleased you have such a good Daddy. And that we have such a good son!! love, mama
