I stole this crayon test from Ashlee. I just knew I was your Idol!!! Yeah right!

You Are a Purple Crayon

Your world is colored in dreamy, divine, and classy colors.

You hold yourself to a sky high standard, and you are always graceful.

People envy, idolize, and copy you without realizing it. You are an icon for those who know you.

And while it is hard to be a perfectionist, rest assured it's paying off!

Your color wheel opposite is yellow. While yellow people may be wise, they lack the manners and class needed to impress you.

Halloween

Well the last post I did was Halloween morning but we never got Halloween night. So here are a couple pictures of Jacey and Lucas and I. A cat, Batman, and The riddler. I was Batmans badguy... However my riddler question marks kept falling off and so mostly nobody knew what or who I was.

Justin was there but worked late so he didn't do a costume. We'll just say he was a cat owner and since he will never be a cat owner that is some good make believe for him. Taylor didn't like getting her face painted but was awful cute once she was dressed.

Halloween went so fast it is all kind of a blur. so beyond these few pictures I really don't have much to say about it. The kids had fun, loaded up at the trunk or treat at the church and we called it a night.

The little tiger is my niece Harley Jane. She was ticked. I hope to get a minute to catch up with everybody I am sorry I haven't commented on any blogs but that is because I haven't checked them in month, I am excited to see what you all have been up to.

Really???

This is what I get if I try to do anything that doesn't involve watching my kids, like blowdry my hair for example. Or getting dressed. Everytime I walk out of the room a new sucker gets opened... deep breaths.

Don't give up on me I'm still here!!!

Ok, so these pictures are all out of order but bear with me. Here is the trip to our local pumpkin patch for some pumpkin picking fun. If you'll notice Lucas and I on that wicked cool slide in one of the pictures below, you'll see us having a grand ol' time... Everyone did the slide Jacey, Daddy, Me and Taylor, all of us. Well just before we left I said "you'd better go down the slide a couple more times before we go" much to Justin's dismay because he didn't want to start the fight of "just one more time". I didn't know before I said it that Justin didn't want to get the slide thing started again. So off they went to the slide. Lucas and Jacey both went a dozen times with no injury but of course the one time I say go get your last sliding in Lucas' shoe catches the side of the slide and it sends him sideways down the slide resulting in a cracked open eyeball. Had it not been my idea to let them go one more time I'm sure all would have been fine. but alas, it was not. I of course felt horribe and got the look of why from Justin, and really none of it was my fault.

Like I said, out of order. Here's some pumpkin cleaning. And the final result is above that. The kids had a good time, Daddy is such a good sport. He carved the big pumpkin with Jacey's "mean" face on it. She wanted a mean face. so there ya go.

And then there's Justin and Me now, and us in 30 years. Ha. Like I said he's a fun guy. I love him for being cool enough with himself to do these fun things with me. What would life be without some laughing at yourself? Good stuff.

Auntie manda has all the best hair ideas. She put those piggies in Taylor hair. They make me laugh out loud. I love it.

Magical Dumpster's

k- everyone has cute things their kids say on their blogs and I thought I would tell you of mine. This morning Lucas and Jacey entertaining themselves while I am on the computer. Playing with a new "my little pony" still in it's box.
Lucas has the box-
Jacey says "don't mess with it Lukey, it's magical."
Lucas "Don't"
Jacey "It's magical, it will turn you into a DUMPSTER."
Mom "it will turn you into..what???"
Jacey "a dumpster."
mom "oohhh"

A magical dumpster, who would'a thunk it. hahaha. good one.

Monday is our garbage day and that morning the kids sat at the front window watching the garbage truck picking up the garbage cans with it's huge claw as Lucas was giggling Jacey says "go on, grab it, grab it" "you almost have it" and then an "oohhhh" as it got it and dumped it into the truck. Lucas is still laughing and Jacey begins again " grab it" grab it" "almost there, grab it" "oohhhhh"
it was making me laugh as I listened to them. Hence the magical dumpster. :)

Catching up...

So here are a couple random shots that never got posted, this is the dress that my sister Emily made for our neice, Harley, for her blessing day. Isn't she amazing? She didn't have a pattern just a little summer dress that she held fabric upto for a general size. This was back on Aug 31st. I am sorry I don't have any pictures of Harley in the dress but it was a busy day. We had family in from out of town and everyone gathered at our house for a brunch, it was a FULL house. Taylor was a little fussy before the blessing so in the beginning of sacrament I took her to the mothers room to feed her, and I heard them on the speaker in there announce that we would be blessing our baby and I had to pack up real quick and run her in there, it was slightly amuzing.
Amanda and Bryant had their daughter Harley blessed in our ward since we had family gather from all over and town and out of state, so we figured it would be easier. Taylor and Harley are only 13 days apart and we call them the Jane cousins since their middle names are both Jane. Pretty darn cute. I am including a picture of them from 2 weeks ago since I didn't get one of the two of them on their blessing day. two little peas in a pod.

Taylor in her blessing dress, this was the same dress Jacey wore on her blessing day. I wondered if it was going to fit cause Jacey was 3 months old when she was blessed, but it was just right. And after the blessing the house was getting pretty toasty so off came the dress, what a face!!! She's pretty darn animated.

Here are the kids in their new fall jammies. Lucas is washing his own hands in the mud sink, my children are all self sufficient. Most the time that is a good thing, it often makes for good photo opportunities.
This is how I found him:
"Jacey where's Lucas?"
Jacey- "I dunno."
Me- "will you go find him please?"
Jacey, she came back and very matter of factly stated- "He's standing in the sink washing his hands"
Me- "Seriously..."

He was standing under the running water as soapy water puddled up around his feet, he was scrubbing very nicely and oh so calmly showed me he was simply washing his hands. I guess if that is the worst mess I have to clean up in a day I am doing pretty good right?

I'm Diabetic...but keep reading.

Well this was a sad thing that I think could really be a challenge for me considering how much I like my sugary things. Last night I went to bed and had this dream(the very real kind) that I was diabetic. Really that was the whole dream, I was told "your diabetic" and I sat wondering how could this happen to me?? I like my sugar and sweets way too much to be diabetic...and then I thought that's how it happened, my pancreas just got sugar saturated and shut down...However when I woke up I realized, I can still go have a bowl of Fruit Loops for breakfast and I don't need to check my blood sugar or take any insulin. HOOORRRAAYY!!!! It did get me thinking though that maybe I should be more aware of how much sugar I do consume. No worries I will still have my dessert and eat it too but maybe just one piece instead of two. That will probably help with the last 10 pounds of weight I'd like to lose as well. So here's to being healthier so I don't turn into a bowlful of jelly.
I vowed this wasn't going to take me all day but alas here I am at 2:45 (the fourth time I've changed the time) and I haven't done anything else alllll day. So this is why I am not on here very often. We went to Idaho this past weekend and visited with Justin's family it was a fun trip. The kids did amazing in the car both ways I was really happy about that. They have always been pretty good travelers so I am happy to see they haven't lost that quality. Taylor was awesome as well, she slept on the way home for 8 straight hours. aaahhhhh (sigh of relief). It seemed like a pretty fast drive, it could have been really long had they not decided to cooperate.

Here are a couple pictures from the trip. This video is of Justin and his sister dancin'. He has already been warned "that it is soooo going on the blog." You'll notice where my kids get their knack for dancing. I have told several of you out there that you should only be so lucky to witness this side of Justin, and here it is, in case you didn't believe me. It was great, once again you'll hear me laughing hysterically in the back round.
I played along too but wasn't captured on film, luckily. Enjoy all this good stuff. We had Jacey's 4th Birthday party at grandma MeeJays House (Justin's Mom) and we had a very yummy dinner and my favorite kind of cake, rainbow chip with rainbow chip frosting. Thanks for taking such good care of us mom.

At G and G swainstons house the kids got turned into cowboys and cowgirls for their birthdays, you'll notice they even have spurs. Jacey wore her hat and boots the rest of the weekend. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Swainston for spoiling us so much. Kelsey and Chase played monopoly with me and I am proud to say I still got it, I beat their butts. I was the lowest man on the totem poll at one point and thought I was going to be the first one out but things turned around and 43 million dollars later I won. It was the new electronic kind which I decided I like as well. Maybe I wouldn't have liked it as much if I would have lost. Thanks you guys for playing with me. I can't get anyone in my family to play monopoly with me anymore. Now you see why. hahahhaaa. Love you all we had a good time with everyone.
