I'm Diabetic...but keep reading.

Well this was a sad thing that I think could really be a challenge for me considering how much I like my sugary things. Last night I went to bed and had this dream(the very real kind) that I was diabetic. Really that was the whole dream, I was told "your diabetic" and I sat wondering how could this happen to me?? I like my sugar and sweets way too much to be diabetic...and then I thought that's how it happened, my pancreas just got sugar saturated and shut down...However when I woke up I realized, I can still go have a bowl of Fruit Loops for breakfast and I don't need to check my blood sugar or take any insulin. HOOORRRAAYY!!!! It did get me thinking though that maybe I should be more aware of how much sugar I do consume. No worries I will still have my dessert and eat it too but maybe just one piece instead of two. That will probably help with the last 10 pounds of weight I'd like to lose as well. So here's to being healthier so I don't turn into a bowlful of jelly.
I vowed this wasn't going to take me all day but alas here I am at 2:45 (the fourth time I've changed the time) and I haven't done anything else alllll day. So this is why I am not on here very often. We went to Idaho this past weekend and visited with Justin's family it was a fun trip. The kids did amazing in the car both ways I was really happy about that. They have always been pretty good travelers so I am happy to see they haven't lost that quality. Taylor was awesome as well, she slept on the way home for 8 straight hours. aaahhhhh (sigh of relief). It seemed like a pretty fast drive, it could have been really long had they not decided to cooperate.

Here are a couple pictures from the trip. This video is of Justin and his sister dancin'. He has already been warned "that it is soooo going on the blog." You'll notice where my kids get their knack for dancing. I have told several of you out there that you should only be so lucky to witness this side of Justin, and here it is, in case you didn't believe me. It was great, once again you'll hear me laughing hysterically in the back round.
I played along too but wasn't captured on film, luckily. Enjoy all this good stuff. We had Jacey's 4th Birthday party at grandma MeeJays House (Justin's Mom) and we had a very yummy dinner and my favorite kind of cake, rainbow chip with rainbow chip frosting. Thanks for taking such good care of us mom.

At G and G swainstons house the kids got turned into cowboys and cowgirls for their birthdays, you'll notice they even have spurs. Jacey wore her hat and boots the rest of the weekend. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Swainston for spoiling us so much. Kelsey and Chase played monopoly with me and I am proud to say I still got it, I beat their butts. I was the lowest man on the totem poll at one point and thought I was going to be the first one out but things turned around and 43 million dollars later I won. It was the new electronic kind which I decided I like as well. Maybe I wouldn't have liked it as much if I would have lost. Thanks you guys for playing with me. I can't get anyone in my family to play monopoly with me anymore. Now you see why. hahahhaaa. Love you all we had a good time with everyone.

Jen, this is a great post!I love all the pictures! I love the one of Jacey with the dahlias. The colors are so vibrant and crisp. She's just an angel. I barely recognized her in the one with the barbie because her hair was pulled back and her bangs were straight. She is so grown-up looking, it's crazy!
I like Lukey's 'don't-mess-with-me' face in the cowboy picture.
Taylor is growing so fast too! I was laughing as I watched Justin dancing. If I ever tried that dance pad thing, I would probably end up on the floor all contorted and tied up, looking like I was trying to play Twister!
Love ya!

Wait...
Does this mean no more cookies for you? Because I'm just starting the height of my baking season here girlie and I need places to be dropping them off. I can't keep all of the goods around here or I'll gain 10 lbs and you know that wouldn't be pretty.

So are you in or what?

super cute, you, the kids, the outfits, the Saturday Night Live... it's all good. It's sad the flowers are almost gone, I think I picked my last dahlias. I got one, crazy, "what month do you think this is?" gladiola this week! It's gorgeous, so I'm just enjoying it's flukey little self. Fall is here, but good things come with fall, too, I s'pose. I love you sweet thing!! mama
