I saw this on a friends blog and thought it was fun.

This is actually pretty close to what my bed looks like except mine is a softish blue, but the pillows look like that. That is kind of funny. Every one that i have seen with this link has come up with the same description so you'll have to take the quiz and see if we are all just similar people or if your bed comes out different.

What Your Bed Says About You
Outward appearances are very important to you. You do your best to look good and have an attractive home.

You try to be an organized person, but you often fall behind. Certain parts of your life tend to fall into chaos.

You are very low maintenance. You tend to go with the flow, and you're easily pleased.

In relationships, you tend to be quite dominant. You enjoy taking charge.

You tend to be a dreamy, head in the clouds type of person. You think in terms of possibilities.

You are a bit of a homebody, but you can also make yourself at home anywhere.

More finished projects

Some Beautys I grew out of my cute garden. I think growing flowers in my garden is uplifting to my soul. That's almost as important as food in my belly...right??? :)

This Saturday is a day of work, and relaxation. Laundry is almost caught up and we have only done one load today, which means I have been good at doing laundry during the week. Lots of weekends Justin catches up on the laundry for me which is very helpful. But he's good like that all over the house. We just finished painting the one wall left in Taylors room so I can put the paint back in the garage and out of the bedroom which will help my brain feel less cluttered. I think that must be something my mother taught me. When my house is clean my mind feels more carefree and at peace.
Here is a sad Taylor 9 weeks olds in her sunday clothes. My good friend Heather bought her that awesome jean skirt and fancy red shoes, she looked really cute but I didn't have time to capture all of her sweetness before we had to get in the car. She was tired. The outfit was a big hit. She cheered up at church.

2007 = the look of terror
2008= actually enjoying herself
What a difference a year makes. I love the face, it makes me laugh every time I see it. I tell her these things are fun but she obviously doesn't agree...yet. This is proof that you shouldn't force your kids to be brave until they are ready.

Family Reunion 2008

July 2008 Reunion

As always we have a very successful family reunion. Good food, good company, fun activities, more good food there just isn't much that tops summer fun. Many of us camped this year and that made for interesting sleeping arrangements, I learned a lot about camping with my kids. For instance they don't go to sleep in tents, there is no limit on how many marshmallows one toddler can consume, sticky things don't wash off easily, and they love camping. Bless my parents for ever taking us anywhere as kids. I remember seeing Mount Rushmore in a camper. We all squished up around the windows so we could see while we drove, back in the day when riding in the camper was half the fun of camping. I can't wait to take my kids to Yellowstone National Park, buffalo bill museum (Montana-these are the trips I remember going on as a kid) ohh, and lake Cushman. Someday Disneyland cause it's one of those events that has eluded me all my life. Yeah for kids. I also loved our trips to Vantage. lots of stories, good times.

Here's a preview of much more to come.

The one of the five girls is funny to me because I have this picture of the same five in 8th grade and if I had the time I would dig it out of the drawer where it's stashed and post them side by side. Good times.
These are from my class of 98' ten year reunion, I had to bring Taylor but even still it was good to see everyone and I had a good time. Justin played along really well. You might recognize some of these people. Unlike a lot of people I was really looking forward to my reunion.

Lots of days I get on my computer just to post or just to balance my checking account and somehow 2 hours later I have done neither. here are a dozen pictures that all deserve long stories on the events that surrounded them but it's either get them on here and you get to see them without their stories or they will remain in my head plaguing me to get them out of the camera and onto my blog.

Next is just a cute one of Mine and Jacey's feet after I painted them. Mostly it makes me feel like I don't ignore my kids all the time. occassionally I play with them too.
And the first of many pictures of taylor with an olive on her finger. I think all my kids have one of these pictures at about this age. Jacey's was a lot more angry. I still have to make a couple slide shows because I have way too many good pictures to post about Taylors blessing and our family reunion. Good luck to me.
